Unhappy hate this weather

ok,i always get this headaches when the fall is coming and hate it.Last week,it started out with a cold, and then it left me with the worst sinus pressure ever.My cheeks, around the nose, forehead and right above the eyes,it hurts very bad,it even hurts when i bent over.I tired benadryl, claritin, sudafed, tyleol sinus, nasal sprays.None of them helped,it only made me drowsy and my hands started shaking. My doctor said everyone is mostly going through this weather change right now and she put me on FLonase and Zyrtec.I had to pay $45.00 with insurance. She said if that doesn't help, she is going to put me on antibiotics.I can't deal with this sinus headache anymore. How long will this last?I don't know what to do anymore to get rid of the headache

Re: hate this weather

Try it for probably at least a week...bending over makes sinus pain worse--so don't do it.

Talking Re: hate this weather

For anyone with a sinus infection or headache...a little trick I have learned, take a ice pack and hold it on your sinus packs above the eyes until you can't stand it any more ...then remove the ice pack, as your sinus packs thaw (and shrink) they release the pressure that was there. I have been doing this for several years and it always works for me. I have no medical proof only my own experience. Hope this helps someone.
