Post Archives - Question? Harry?

Hi,

In a previous post, Harry mentioned that he had started an "Information Archive" that has a link to 'bleeding'. Can anyone please help me find this Archive?

After my last post I have added more fibre in to my diet (eg, bran cereal). I have been having somewhat constipated BM's the last week hence the added fibre. These BMs have been small but no blood on tissue paper. This morning I went (fibre starting to work as I didn't have to strain as much) but there was a pinprick amount of bright red blood when I wiped...not even a full pinprick..about a half really. Also a little bit of a wind pain during the night. Nothing that would require painkillers etc, just noticeable. But, then again, my mind could be playing tricks on me because I am looking for symptoms!

Any suggestions on how to reach Harry's archive?

Thank you so much for reading.

xx

Hi Angle,
I moved the Achieve Up so you wouldn't have to look for it. But, to find something on the boards just go to search and type in the name of the person and you'll get all the messages that person has posted.

I suggest that you take a water soluble fiber like psyllium husk. Bran is an OK fiber but it does not absorb water and I have found that it comes in different textures ---the course type is sometimes abrasive and can irratate your colon much like peanuts or popcorn--- both are fiber but not water absorbable. They just react with some people in not a very good way. As you know you just have to have enough fiber for your gastro system to work properly. You need at least 20 to 35 grams daily and of course you need to drink water. Your body is made up of 70% water so you have to keep hydrated.

It sound like you either have a rectal fissure or a hemorrhoid but it's always a good idea to get rectal bleeding checked out by a doctor--- just to be safe!!!

God Bless----Harry
