Diarhea HELP!

I have had diarhea for like 3 months now, and i am SO sick of it!! I've had like 2 regular bowel movements.. i think something is wrong.. any idea what it could be? im really worried!

Diarrhea for three months (chronic diarrhea) needs to be investigated, so you should really go and see your doc. It could be anything from IBS, food intolerances to a whole host of other things, colitis, crohns and the like.

I agree with Super Sarah. If this is a sudden change in your "usual" bowel habits, you need to find out why. It may be no big deal, but get to your doctor anyway for piece of mind. Once you know why you're having chronic "D", then you can post questions on the boards to get advice from others who are also having similar issues.

Just a word of advice. Never let diarrhea go unchecked for more than a couple of days as it can lead to electrolyte imbalances as well as dehydration. Get this checked out ASAP.

I am going to a doctor in Florida on the 13th, just to get checked out for other reasons, i've had some other weird things, and i'm trying to learn how to gain weight.. I want to mention it to him then, but i am really embarrased about it, and my mom will be in there with me too, and thats embarrassing. Is there anyway that I won't have to tell him? because he's doing like a whole body thing, for food allergies and everthing under the sun, so I'm wondering if I won't have to tell him ... http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif
