Question I don't want a girl - advice!

My partner & I are trying for a baby, and he already has a daughter from his 1st marraige. I'm a major tom boy & love everything concerned with boyish stuff. I really don't want a girl at all, I know that may seem selfish but thats the way I feel. Is there any advice on ways to help having a boy? i've heard stuff about this before but never bothered with it as I never wanted kids b4.

Chart your cycle. Learn how to predict/tell when you are ovulating. The closer you have sex to the time you ovulate, the better your chances are of having a boy. The theory is that sperm that contain the boy chromosomes swim faster and die faster. Girl sperm swim slower and take longer to die. So if people want a girl they recommend havng sex a few days before so that all the male sperm are dead by the time you ovulate. For you it would be vice versa. I don't know quite how well this works, but I have read it quite a few places. Plus its what happened to me. 1st time I had sex the day I ovulated and had a boy. THis time I had sex 2-3 days before I ovulated and I'm having a girl. It's the cheap way to try for what you want....or you could shell out $25,000 and try the scientific way.

I found some gender selection kits on the internet for under $100 (some were around $39 I think) that claim to work. I have no idea how they work, but it might be worth looking into.

I guess the bottom line is, you can try to get the gender you want, all you want, but when the baby comes you will love it no matter what gender it is.
