Question Ok, so I just removed my patch Thursday....

Now what?? How do I determine when I'm going to ovulate?? Is it exactly 14 days AFTER your menstral cycle?? I know about taking the temp. everyday and when it spikes, you should be ovulating. But how do I get it down to a better calculation of what day it happens on?

Also, Since removing the patch we've dtd twice. This morning, I started my period. Is it possible that I could have gotten pregnate one of those two times before I started my period?? Reason I'm asking is, my Mom is a 'period baby'. Her mother had her period for like the first two or three months. I was rather sad when I started my period this morning. But I know that it isn't going to happen over night. I was just wondering if it's a possibility.

And finally, are those stories you hear about laying flat afterwords, with your butt propped up on a pillow so the 'little swimmers' can get to where they need to be, standing on your head or propping your legs up on a wall afterwords, true???? This may sound like a stupid question, but I've known people who SWEAR by keeping your butt propped up after doing the deed.

And info would be great.
Thanks in advance!

Carlyn

Yes, they are true! You can elevate your butt with a pillow(or something) or prop your feet on a wall, you're suppose to stay elevated for at least 20 mins. My aunt and cousin had problems conceiving and thats what their doctors told them to do!

I used the ovulation sticks, but they didn't work for me. There is a new thing out called an ovulation scope its really neat. You can get them at Wal-Mart for around 20 $$. Its also reusable so its defintly worth the money. You spit on to the lense and turn on the light and look at it, if its crystalized your ovulating if its all spread out your not. Its something like a mini microscope. Good Luck with everything! Hope you conceive very quickly!
