Doctor in New Orleans area

I would like to have lasik in the near future and am wondering if anyone could recommend a great doctor in the New Orleans area? I have an appointment with Dr. Jeffery Singer in Metairie next Tuesday. Has anyone used him or heard anything about his work? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Dr.Stephen Brint is the number doctor in the U.S. for laser eye surgery. My husband went to him about 3 months ago for a free consulation. Even with his discount for being a jefferson parish police employee it was still $4000.00 dollars.

Hope you get this in time. There is more than one kind of lazer surgery now for eyes. They test you at his office free to see if you are able to get the others that are better.

EDIT: My hubby did not get the surgery yet as the money was a probelm for us. They do offier 0% free financing for a year if you opt for thier credit card. Or you can just use your own credit card too.
