Question Unhealthy, Quick Weight Loss

So many sites I read about losing weight at a healthy pace and eating all the right foods to get muscular and maintain a healthy body.

My question is, what if you don't want to get muscular, or what if you don't want to be healthy and eat well balanced meals? What's the quickest way to lose weight that doesn't involve eating 'right' to stay fit? Can one eat nothing but noodles and run/walk a distance every day to lose a ton of weight and end up as a scrawny person?

I'm tired of being overweight and want to fix this problem as quickly as possible.

Re: Unhealthy, Quick Weight Loss

If you want to lose weight as quick as possible, I would go on a raw-vegan diet or try the Negative Calorie Diet. But don't cheat! (for at least 2 weeks) I went on these diets for that amount of time, and I lost a lot of weight really fast. I stopped and the most of the weight hasn't come back (which is really surprising since lately I've been eating a lot of junk. My weight would fluctuate from 145- 150 alot and after going on this diet it fluctuates from 138-140 (but it's mostly at 140 - when I eat ALOT). But the raw-vegan diet is actually really really good for you, especially if you stay on it. It's actually more of a lifestyle than a diet, and I'm trying to go back on it. You should probaly try it, because a lot of people lose tons of weight really fast. Hope I've helped.

Re: Unhealthy, Quick Weight Loss

My brothers are wrestlers and they sometimes have to go on drastic diets to make sure they are within their weight classes and what they do is drink only water and go on a raw vegan diet and for exercise they dress in layers of clothes and do cardio for hours.

But this is just a quick fix. You can become as scrawny as you want but if you don't eat healthy and exercise you will just end up back where you started or with an eating disorder.

Re: Unhealthy, Quick Weight Loss

The simple fact is this....if you go on any type of diet that makes you lose more then 1-3 lbs a week, you'll either gain it back PLUS 5 lbs more because your metabolism is out of whack.....OR like calamity said, you'll end up with an eating disorder. My best advice is YOU NEED TIME TO LOSE GREAT AMOUNTS OF WEIGHT. I have 50 more lbs to lose, and I realize that its going to take me til about April of next year to achieve this. Don't do that to your body...seriously...its so risky.

Re: Unhealthy, Quick Weight Loss

So you want to be scrawny and unhealthy? Do it the right way, exercise and burn off calories than you take in.

Many people try a fast fix and end up burning what muscle they have (with some fat loss) but in the long run all this will do is slow your metabolism.
