Probably a dumb question!

Hi everyone! I've had problems with indigestion for about a year now. What I wanted to know is...can gas caused by indigestion cause pain in the chest area? I shoould probabbly post this on the obsessions board as well cause i keep freaking out that the pain in my chest on the left side is a heart attack, and after a while I'll burp or pass gas (excuse me) and the pain will slowly go away. Does anyone else get this? Thanx in advance for your time

Yes it can. Lots of people go to the ER because they think they're having a heart attack and sometimes it's indigestion they actually have.

Twisten is right trapped gas can be very painful and alarming. I have found 2 homeopathic remedies good for it--- Magnesia Phos for cramping and spasms and Carbo Veg --- it helps the trapped gas in the stomach after eating and just sitting around.
There is a good web site about Controlling Gas in the "Information Archive" at the top of this board. It is worth reading.
