Sudden whitehead on my lip

Last week, in the evening, a large whitehead suddenly appeared on my lower lip in the span of about three hours. When I say on, I mean on the exterior of my lip. I popped it (wasn't very hard...just touched it), and it went away. Tonight, it started cropping up again, and I popped it twice. Each time, the contents look just like any other whitehead I've had. The area doesn't crust over or anything, it just disappears.

Should I be worried about this? Or do pimples actually happen on the surface of the lips? I've just never had one. Any advice on how to best heal this? I obviously don't want to put anything on it that I may accidently eat.

I'm really confused how this happened...I just recently came off Biaxin, could that have something to do with it?

I dont know about the medication, nor can i tell if it actually is a spot (which im sure it is) but, when you pop it, try leaving some of the clear liquid that comes out on the site. This will crust over and should give the area a bit of time to heal. Ive got the same thing right now, but just below my lower lip, like where people would get their lip pierced. Ive done that and its dried up now! :-D
