Thumbs up COLONics?!

Has anyone ever heard of colonic hydrotherapy? I think it's supossed to be wonderful & make you feel 100% refreshed. Does anyone know about this or have an experience??

Re: COLONics?!

yes I have had it done numerous times and it is really fantastic. It was not the least bit uncomfortable and maybe even pleasant. You literally feel the built up "crud" coming out. I like it so much that I have purchased my own home colon cleaning board. Search the web for more info. Try it at least once.Keep posted..

Re: COLONics?!

Your intestines are suppose to function normally w/o the use of colonics or laxatives. They both can be habit forming and make it so your intestines don't work--- Is that what you are looking for???

A person needs to intake 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily for their intestines to work properly. It needs to be divided between soluble and insoluble fiber.
There is no fiber in all meats, seafood and dairy products. So, you have to eat grains, fruit and veggies.

I just don't think doing colonics is a normal thing to do and yes I have had them -- 22 years ago. The procedure hasn't changed.

God Bless---Harry

Re: COLONics?!

I've had it done a few times and would recommend it for anyone with a really serious "back-up" problem. You don't have to get addicted to it - just do it until your body's functioning right.

It's an eye-opening experience, literally. You actually see what's coming out (through a glass tube, so no odor) and I realized I am producing a lot of bile because I take medications.

Although I really dreaded the idea of it (I have "issues" with that area of my anatomy) it wasn't painful or traumatic. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't unpleasant either. The water is warm, so you don't really feel it.

Re: COLONics?!

I am very interested in having this done. What should I expect afterwards? Are you crampy, tired, sore, etc...? Thank you
