More bad studies on Celebrex

It's all over the news today. I took Vioxx, it really helped and I had no side effects. Switched to Celebrex when they yanked Vioxx but had to stop taking it because it made my heart race. This is too bad because the Cox 2's really did help my back pain. Just wanted yall to be careful with the Celebrex!

I was at my doc's two or three days ago and he said that a few cases hurt chances for a lot of people. But, who wants to be one of the few who did die from these meds?

Because of the stink, I quit Vioxx, tried Bextra and Celebrex. They may work for some people, but not for me. Maybe I was lucky when I stopped.

They gave me one of the older ones and even though I only took it for a few days, it ate the lining of my stomach and now I am on Protonix for a week. For three days I could not keep anything in my stomach. It was a toss up between which pain was worse, the acid burning my stomach or my back pain. Luckily I got to my doctor in time and realized what was causing the stomach pain.

I think that all meds are poison, you just have to choose carefully which short or long term side effects you are willing to endure.

Tried Celebrex VERY briefly - did not like it at all!

It horses for courses. I use Celebrex and have no probs. It seems to work well for me.

Losy, you may not think you are having problems, and maybe you're not, but things like high blood pressure are not always something you feel. I would be very careful to frequently monitor my bp and get frequent checkups if I were still using it.
