I just want to whine and say I have the flu. Anyone know whats best to take with hyperthyroid?

Looks like you and I are in the same boat. Mine is in my sinuses with green mucous coming out when I blow my nose. Would that be an infection?

I know that when you are hyper you can't take sudafed. I have been using nasonex but it just opens up the sinuses. It think you can take benadryl.

That is about all I know you can use.

sorry to hear you are feeling like crap too.

I broke down and took comtrex. I was feeling so rotten I just didn't care. I am now able to function a little bit now, my fever broke...ahhh. I took Benadryl and honestly - the children's tylenol worked better. ha ha My poor kids, the stuff I took was- no joke- like swallowing nastey thick mucous! terrible!!!!

What you have sounds like a sinus infection (I'm an expert on those ). Please visit your doc, as you probably need an antibiotic.

I feel like crapola this morning. Now it is in my chest and when I cough it hurts. My husband had that too but he didn't have the green stuff.yuck!!

I think you are right Loves Teaching. It feels like a sinus infection. I am kind of waiting to see if it clears a little. Nothing good comes to certain things that you wait on. Did that make sense?LOL Thyroid moment I guess.

Hope you feel better too April. They won't take that thyroid out Jan. 3rd if you are sick ya know.
