Question Sarcomas

I have a question about my father. 1 year ago he had removed from his heart sack a large tumor and it was diagnosed as leomyosarcoma.

He has followed up with 4 months of chemo and
so far all the remaining tissues that are of
concern are shrinking. Is this a terminal disease or is there a great deal of hope because everyone I have spoken to re: this type of cancer all say the survival rate is very low.He looks great and has gained all of his weight back since chemo and I don't see a terminally ill man when I look at him. Can someone give me some facts about this type of tumor in men?

Another good Sarcoma resource is http://wwww.sarcomaalliance.com. On that site there are other relevant sites related to sarcomas among other things.

CancerSource.com is also coming out w/a sarcomanewsletter early this summer
