Signet cell appendix caner

Hi, My name is Diane. I am 32 y/o and have 2 small children. Enyone else out there with this diagnosis? It has been staged at IV.
I have been getting chemo since June of 2000. So far it is keeping it at bay for now. It would be nice to hear from someone who had appendix CA. I am receiving tx at Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit. They have all been really great there.

Well, I don't have the same kind of cancer that you have but would you beleive the after 2 weeks of being on my Chemo my appendix bursted and I spent the next week in the hospital near death! The emergency room said I had stomach flu on a friday,but my appendix bursted and I went home to a living hell until sunday when I went back again and screamed for help for 10 hours til they finally figured out that I was in severe danger.

Good luck with your therapy and I feel for you. Chemo is not fun nor is it fun for your kids. I too have 3 kids. I can say one thing though, it's been a major learning experience for all.
