Question Please help with chemo related nausea remedies

Please reply with any remedies, either medicinal or herbal/homeopathic for chemotherapy related nausea. My Mother is taking the Comptosar therapy and cannot keep anything down for more than an hour. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Ginger tea is a gentle anti-emetic.

Gravol also works well but will likely cause her to fall asleep - so no driving, operating any equipment, doing any kitchen chores, etc.

Zofran is THE best anti-emetic. Zofran was the only anti-emetic that worked consistently and quickly for our child. But, it is very expensive. [This is why most hospitals will give Zofran only after all other anti-emetics have failed. In Canada, it's about $11-$12 per pill.]

Here's info on Zofran:

Good luck,
Jay

My husband has had 5 cancer surgeries and at each chemo treatment he was given ice chips to put in his mouth during the treatments to avoid mouth sores. He never had any mouth sores from the chemo and no nausea, so perhaps the ice chips helped with that. Good luck.
