Not sure. My mother need one because of her Ovarian cancer. My sister (24) has been advised to have kids soon and have a hysterectomy in her mid to late 30's. This is primarily because it seem to be running in the family.

I am kinda new to this, being a guy and all, but I am trying to learn all I can for the sake of my mothers condition.

Michael
