thick uterine lining from estrogen use..HELP!

I really need someones help who has uterine cancer or build up in the endometrium lining....I dont have cycles for 3 months at a time, so my doc prescribed provera, which makes me bleed..which is ok for me...however in the last 12 days i have been bleeding non-stop, heavy...Its been 3 months since my last period and this one is very heavy since getting off the provera..My doc doesnt seem concerned and says i have chronic anxiety...This bleeding is not normal for me, as my cycles are only 3 to 5 days and lite....i am on an estrogen patch for menopause...Is this heavy period cancer? What are the signs of uterine cancer? How can i prevent it without using that poison provera pill? I tried prometrium also, and it too gave me bad side effects...Please someone respond to this, for i am desperate...thanks
