Question bad cradle cap

i have a 4 monthe old and he has extremely bad cradle cap. is there any suggestions as what to do to get rid of it?. i have tried scrubbing with my nails but am to worried about his little soft spot to really get at it. please help!!

Rub baby oil on it...that works pretty good! Also if you have a fine tooth baby comb keep runnin that thru it till the stuff starts to come out.

good idea! i had tried lotion but maybe the oil will penetrate the scalp better! thanks!!

Yes, that works. You may have to do it a few days in a row to get it all, it's kinda of a pain to wash out but it works. Just be gentle, but good enough to lift the chunks.

I always found that a gentle baby shampoo everynight, even if you're just shampooing scalp! lol, and combing the scalp gently, then rubbing baby oil on their head, worked everytime.
