hydroxycut

question: does the new ephedra free hydroxycut work at all? My husband has some and I have thought of using it. I gained ten pounds after my back surgery two months ago and b/c of my recovery, can't work out to my full potential. Right now all I can really do is walk on the treadmill. So, just wondering if that could give me a little extra boost. Thanks!

Re: hydroxycut

I started using Hydroxycut last year to lose weight before vacation. I lost about 25lbs by summer '04... But weight was not the only thing that I lost... I lost sleep too! It incresed my heart rate so much that I would lay in bed at night and feel my heart racing out of control. It actually scared me somtimes, it felt like my heart was going to "explode!" I developed anxiety from using it, but continued to because I was scared to gain back the weight, I was addicted. Finally after one night of getting only about an hour of sleep, I decided to quit taking the pills and compensate by exercising more. Now, in your case, with out being able to excercise at your full potential, I can only suggest to keep doing what you can, eat right, and maybe increase the "little things" you do to say fit. Take the stairs, walk an extra half a mile everyday, drink a lot of water: it will give you more energy to burn during those simple everyday physical activities. Since I stopped using Hydroxycut, I get more sleep, and have more energy to burn not only at the gym, but throughout my day. I am in better all-around shape now. Hope this helps.

Re: hydroxycut

was your ephedra-free? I know that it does have a lot of caffeine, but that has never bothered me (well, I can't DRINK it now or it makes me sick, but I can "eat" it). I took one yesterday and one today and have had no problems yet. But, I will stick to my work outs to what I can. I quit smoking and b/c of boredom and that I keep shoving food in my mouth and I was thinking the appetite suppressant in this would help. Oh, it isn't Hydroxycut it is actually Diet-Tech, though made by the same people. We'll see. The first sign of any problems and I'll stop taking it. I appreciate the input!

Re: hydroxycut

Hey.. just recently I have taken Diet-Tech & have seen some results. I was only taking two in the morning (I am unable to eat anything once I get to school then work, so I was hoping to avoid stomach growling and whatnot).. it works pretty well as an appetite supressant and I haven't experienced any jittery symptoms like I have with other thermogenics. I've lost 11 pounds between Christmas and about the end of January, but I also just recently quit smoking (2 weeks smoke free!!) so I'm thinking of starting taking it as it directs with hopes of not gaining weight associated with quitting smoking. Anyway, I haven't had any issues with it, but I also haven't been taking the full directed amount. Good Luck & let me know how it's working for you.
