Natural remedy for PMS symptoms?

I'm wondering if there is a good natural supplement to help relieve PMS symptoms, mainly mood swings/irritability? If it helped with breast tenderness or bloating, that would be a definite plus!

I've heard evening primrose oil is good, but do you take it all the time or only when you need it?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Natural remedy for PMS symptoms?

I take evening primrose and flaxseed oil, 2 caps twice a day......They have been a blessing with pms symptoms. The breast tenderness is completely gone along with the demons that appear the week before I start. DH has even noticed the change. I also take a multi, Vit C, Vit E, Calcium, Magnesium, and a B-complex.

Irritability, I'd say try some nervines like valerian or hops...might relax you. For female troubles some recommend false unicorn.

Agnus Castus is meant to be good - it helps the body to regulate hormones. Ive only just started taking it, I think it takes about 3 months to really improve the symptoms.
