Post lgl leukemia

I have a rare cronic leukemia (LGL) and am looking for someone who has the same. I've tried several protocols and have temporary successes getting my neutrophils up but then yo yo back and have to start all over. Looking for alternative ideas or some experiences of others.

Re: lgl leukemia, T cell type

I have it too. What have you tried and how is it going?

I have looked for someone with LGL.
I have not had any luck on getting the neutrophils up.
Have found the Procrit shots make me feel like I have some energy.
I have made a diet change, vitamin change and exercise change in my life. This helps - nothing cures.

Re: lgl leukemia, T cell type

The only thing that gives me any help with my neutrophils is prednisone. I've taken it with methotrexate and cytoxin and alone. cytoxin worked wonders but had to get off after a year and when I did my numbers dropped immediately. So keep taking prednisone to maintain even 2 to 300 level. Went to the NIH twice but was rejected due to their not informing me of certain requirements. Details if your interested. Now thinking of trying the "Breuss Cancer Cure". Look it up.

Re: lgl leukemia

I am looking to find someone that can share the way their body is responding to the disease and how they are coping mentally. My diet changes and vitamins have stayed off transfusions. Procrit makes life worth living. I do not find much help thru the doctors or anyone for that matter. As far as the neutrophils - my doctor said to stay out of crowds and away from sick people.
Why did the NIH reject you? How long have you had LGL? Was this the original cancer?
