Question If you've had a lung removed...

Hey all -
I'm Suzie. My brother had his right lung removed five weeks ago. He is still in a great deal of pain, particularly below his right rib cage. He is still weak and dizzy, even though the doctors led him to believe he would be up and around in two months.
He is also having intense digestive discomfort, accompanies by bouts of cold sweats which last for hours.
If anyone out there has had similar experiences, or is still suffering post surgery, please let me know. He feels something may be radically wrong, but maybe this is just standard recovery from a pneumonectomy.
Thanks,
Suzie
