peeps1111 Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2002 Posts: 22	lung cancer surgery Hi: My sister is having lung cancer surgery on 1/29 and she is nervous about having to be on a ventilator for a couple of days. She thinks she will automatically try to breathe and it will screw up the ventilator. Has anyone been on a vent? Can you explain about this?
