Has anyone tried ear stapling (acupressure) for weight loss

I have recently learned of a form of acupressure called ear stapling for weight loss. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and had success or not?

i had an alternative medicine healer put one in my ear a couple of times several years ago. it did help suppress my appetite. the benefit wore off after a short while, but did help get me started on modifying my "food" ;ikestyle and that's what i think long term weight control requires. meople seem to have varying degrees of success with them. the cost isn't much and i have never heard of any complications if you keep the area clean. Thanks for replying. I got them put in today, so we will see. Did they put yours in one or both ears? They put them in both of mine. The left one has an earache feeling. Did you experience anything like that? If so how long did it last? Thanks!
