Pill and bile vomitting?

For background information: I'm on my second pack of Triphasil and before then, I had one shot of Depo-Provera.

When I started Triphasil, after taking the second pill in the pack, I woke up in the middle of the night with very bad nausea. I went to the bathroom and threw up, but only bile came up. I felt much better afterwards, although I was a bit nauseous for the rest of the day. I attributed the vomitting to a beer I had drank 6 hours before and to the fact that I hadn't eaten much the day before. Since I rarely drink, I figured that it must have upset my liver.

However, after the 3th pill of my second pack, the same thing happened. Only this time, I hadn't had any alcohol and my stomach wasn't empty. But instead of vomitting normally, I vomitted bile. Today, like last time, I feel better but still a bit nauseous.

I know that nausea and vomitting are side-effects of the pill, but can it disturb your liver too, so that you vomit bile?

Did you have any food in your stomach? If you don't have any food down there, the only think you'll be able to vomit is bile.

Acid usually produces bile also.
