Has anyone gone to the cancer care at MD ANDERSON? In Houston TX? I have a very dear friend who has been diag w/ lymphoma and we are trying to get him there. I have heard they work miricals there.. This friend is 69 yrs old and has suffered many illnesses and numerous surgeries for various things, most recent is amputation of a leg from infection ...he is a diabetic. Now he wants to die to relieve himself of all sicknesses...Please reply to me.

Our family has never been there [M.D. Anderson] but the ACOR families/patients I have corresponded with have very good things to say about it. My impression is that M.D. Anderson is one of the top three cancer treatment/research hospitals in the U.S. The others are Johns Hopkins [Boston] and Fred Hutchison [Seattle].
