Ortho Tri Cyclen LO!!!!

Hello everyone, i just wanted to know if anyone knows anyone or have themselves this situation. I was taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for about 6 months, and in January I found out that I was pregnant. I took them as I should, didnt miss any!! The problem after that was my doctor told me she had 4 other patients on OTC Lo who also got pregnant. I am starting to wonder if it was a bad batch! I also had an allergy to amoxil at about 7 weeks into the pregnancy and when I was at the hospital the doctor told me that she had just gotten pregnant on OTC too!! Thats 5 people 2 months that this happened to on the same pill. My doctor took all her patients off that pill! If anyone knows anyone else, please post here!

Humm this sounds strange and actually a good thing to know since I am considering taking OTC lo. I will run this by my Dr. today and see what she says and post again later on

About 2 years ago I started to take that pill. The doctor scared me when she said that if you don't get your period when you are on the inactive pills, then you might be pregnant and would have to come in for a pregnancy test.

I stopped taking it by the 4th pill because of having such a bad reaction to it.

I felt myself getting really bloated also on it.

I am glad I didn't continue it. I know I should of finished the pack but I felt horrible on it.

Wow, thats wierd! I took OTC LO too. I didnt get pregnant (thank God) but had to quit because of MAJOR side effects. The regular Ortho Tri Cyclen I had no problems with.

hmmm, i take OTC lo and ive never had any side effects from it. i dont see why the pregnancy rate would be higher with it if you take your pills properly.......yikes, im kind of worried now!
