ok, so a few weeks ago, I went to my local immediate care clinic cause i had pressure in my left ear. I was given an antibiotic, but had a reaction to it, so I was given cipro for 7 days. Took that and the pressure mostly went away. about 5-7 days later it came back. So I went to my primary care physician. My normal one wasn't in, but I saw a different one. Anyway, I had by this point developed lightheadnesses when walking AND was sleeping ALOT, like 14 hours a day. I was alot more tired then I could ever remember being. So the doctor ordered blood work. He ordered a comp met panel, and a CBC. When those came back, everything was normal except for the following:
on my comp met panel
ALT (SGOT) was 48, normal says 10-40 IU/L
ALK (PHOS) was 100, normal says 32-92 IU/L
on my CBC
ABS EOS was .48, normal is .05-.30 K/CUMM
%EOS was 4.5 which normal is 1.0 - 3.0 %
So after I got that back, this doctor wanted me to come back for a Hepatitis panel, a Mono test and have an ultrasound done on my liver. So i had the hep panel done which came back negative, the mono test which also came back negative, but went to see my normal doc before the liver ultrasound was done. My doctor said my ear looked normal, and he didn't think I needed to have the ultrasound done, cause the levels weren't that high above normal. So he gave me entex for a decongestant, and meclizine for the lightheadnesses. He thinks I have some kind of viral infection in my sinuses. Now, we have had alot of people in my office that have had influenza A lately, but I have a very strong immune system, so I think I avoided that, although maybe this is how I am reacting to it.
Like I said, my only symptoms are tired ALOT, the lightheadedness, and the slight pressure in my left ear. Sometimes I get a slight headache, but thats easily taken care of.
So my question is, does anyone know what may be going on, or what kind of specialists I should go see next. I have thought maybe an ear, nose, throat specialists, or maybe a gastroenterologist cause of the liver thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
EDIT: Oh, and from last friday to this past tuesday I was hardly eating anything, but yet I wasn't getting hungry at all. I started eating and getting hungry wednesday, but lost 3 pounds during the weekend.
And I have had an HIV test, which came back negative, so its not that either.
EDIT AGAIN! Sorry, but I have also had, in the last day or two pressure in my sinuses above my cheeks.
