How Long Does It Take For Antibiotics To Work??

Hi,

I am 26, suffering from acne from like 11 years. Have tried a LOT of things. About 1 1/2 weeks ago, the derm put me on Biaxin, just 250mg a day (one tab) and azelex. I have seen no effect so far, and keep breaking out very badly. HOW LONG FOR THIS STUFF TO KICK IN?? has anyone taken Biaxin? Is the dosage high enough?? Help!

id say 3-5 months, sometimes when you have acne your so down you cant notice a difference so take pics of acne areas, and compare. but id say it took around 4 months for my tetracycline to actually kick into full effect. also their is no gurantee antibiotics will work so if you dont think its working try something different.

Nooooo. I have tried MANY antibiotics!! Some worked temporarily and some didnt...

be careful with antibiotics. They will mess you up on the inside.
