Abilify for AADD

I've been prescribed Abilify for my adult ADD (still taking dexadrine and I'm in my fifties) - after reading the warnings on the internet, I'm scared to take it, but my doctor told me I've got to trust him and try it out. So I will. Have any adults out there with ADD taken Abilify? I feel like a guinea pig...

Re: Abilify for AADD

I take Abilify and Dexedrine, too...I've taken the Abilify for about two years now, with no noticeable side effects. It wasn't prescribed for my ADHD, though, and I've never heard of it prescribed for that. It's usually for other stuff, although in your case maybe it is for your ADD. In any case, from what I know it's a safe and effective drug to use. Good luck! Sue
