How long until hormones are stable

Question, my doctor put me on Nordette, because after an endometrial Ablation in January my hormones are totally playing ping pong. Does anybody know when the pill is used for hormones how long once you start the pills until your hormones calm down a little.

It can take several months for everything to settle down.
