Post What can you do when you first get symptoms?

Is there anything you can do when you first get the tingling and numbness in your fingers and the pain in your wrists to prevent everything from getting worse?
Thanks.

Start taking Vit B6, it seems to help some people, not me but I know some who did. There are things you can do in the workplace if you happen to have a sit on butt in front of puter all day kind of job. There are excersises that help the wrists that you can get online. I would check with your gp and see what he/she thinks. I just had cts and nerve decompression 10 days ago for the second time. You first need to know what you're dealing with, in wrist, shoulder or maybe neck, they all can refer pain to wrists as well as vice a versa.

Thanks for responding NancyH. I just starting taking a B-Complex and I also take a multi-vit.
I will look up those exercises because I know I developed this from sitting in front of the computer. I hope it's not too late for me...maybe I can stop it before it gets really bad.
Thanks again!

If you're doing a lot of mousing, buy a pen tool.

Thanks for writing, gilligus. I do use the mouse quite a bit. Never heard of a pen tool, but I will definitely look into it. I think the mouse is one of my biggest problems.
I appreciate you writing!
