Question new/ cubital tunnel/ surgery soon

Hello,
I just found these boards and I have questions. I have had prob for more then 10 years. Have pain that is out of this world and they just finally figured out what is the prob. I have tried braces and exer. but nothing is working. I have lost alot of strength in my hands and arms and its getting worse. They are doing surgery on Fri the 28th. I am scared, but I had a friend who had it done and she is better. I have a mild case of carpal tunnel also, but that does not bother me as much as my arm and elbow.

When I am feeding my baby my whole arm feels like it feel asleep and then pain startes to shoot through it. The surgery I hope will help some of this. I have tried message and hot and cold packs and everything.

If anyone has any info or just anything to tell me Please Write me back.

Concered

Are you having the carpal tunnel release or more than that. I had bi lateral release 2 years ago. I worked great until I went back to work doing the same thing that put me in that position in the first place. Now I have daily pain and my sugeon won't reopen it again. He says that it will cause too much scar tissue.I am now retraining ina new field. Good luck to you.

Hello,
I am having my ulnar nerve moved in my elbow and removing some of the bone.
They are not doing my hand this time. My wrist is not as bad as my arm and my 2 fingers.
Thanks for reading my post
Bye Chele'

Sounds like your ulnar nerve, maybe you'll need an ulnar nerve decompression.

Hello,
Well I had my EMG today, boy I was not ready to have needles put in my neck. Is that normal? It was not to bad, I guess. I will find out what they said when I go to the doc's tomorrow.
I guess my surgery is still on for Friday.
Thanks for reading
Bye Chele'
