Post EMG parameters

My hand surgeon says that my EMG results were the wierdest he's seen in 20 years (oh, great!). Does anyone have a link to the normal ranges? I have a copy of the test (to take to the neurologist) and want to compare the figures myself. Thanks!

Maybe this link will help, look at the education section: http://www.emg-online.net/
Did your Doctor say what was so weird? I was just curious. Good luck - Phil

Thanks, Phil -- I'll take a look! I believe what the doc was referring to was that, while the motor and sensory study numbers look rather normal, the EMG Study has 3++ for fibs and PSW. Supposedly, 3++ for fibs and PSW are indications of advanced nerve degeneration (it's supposed to be "normal").

Thanks so much for the link -- will study this further!
