Hi Trisha Rose
Howzitgaun?

Well that's my education for a Sunday morning. I didn't know anything about Golfer's Elbow so did a search & now know that it's similar to Tennis Elbow. If it's the inside of the elbow it's medial epicondylitis (Golfer's) & if it's the outside of the elbow it's lateral epicondylitis (Tennis). It would appear that most cases are caused by neither golfing nor tennis!
http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif I did read though that either can indeed affect your neck & golfer's elbow can radiate right up to the neck or be caused by a neck injury & go right down to your fingers. Guess that's because the nerves originate in the neck & travel right down to the fingers.
I'm surprised your doc didn't refer you to a physio. I know they have them in the Health Centre up there beside you because I got sent there when I lived in Loanhead. Having said that though, I recently had to wait around 6-8 weeks to see a physio in Bonnyrigg.
If you do a search on epicondylitis you might find something you can do to help it meantime e.g. warm/cold applictions or the like. I hope you don't have to wait much longer to get to an expert as your problem sure aint getting any better in the meantime. No more bowling though I'd say - probably not good for it!

Best wishes.
