Cool

Hi Joel
54 people have read your post & nobody has replied It's around 7 years since I had my surgery so difficult to remember how long it took but I can tell you it took a while. It was only days before I used my hands again but I had tingling for months afterwards. The surgeon explained that because the nerve had been interfered with, it sometimes took a very long time to settle after surgery - anything up to about a year. He was right too.

I think you just have to be careful. Try not to overuse it but at the same time don't keep it in a splint or immobilized 24/7 Have you tried just wearing a splint overnight to give it a rest? I do that because I still do all the things which gave me cts in the first place.

I hope your hand continues to improve & gets back to normal soon. Best wishes.
Lidia

HI JOEL,HOPE THAT YOU RECOVER QUICKLY,I HAD CT SURGERY IN 2001 AND NEVER RECOVERED FROM IT IN EITHER HAND.THAT WAS MY 6TH SURG.ON RT HAND AND 2ND ON LEFT,LEFT HAND STARTED OUT WELL THEN A MONTH LATER HAD RT HAND DONE SO I HAD TO OVER-COMPENSATE W/LEFT HAND SO THEY BOTH WENT TO CRAP.DR SAID THERE'S NOTHING MORE THEY CAN DO,JUST LIVE W/IT.
I'M IN CHRONIC SEVERE PAIN 24/7 IN BOTH WRISTS AND HANDS.HANG IN THERE AND DON'T PUSH YOUR LIMITS
