Arrow For anyone that their emg (nerve) test came back neg.

Hello, I thought I would post this and let you all know that not all tests are 100%. But we all know this by now.

I had a emg done and it came back completely normal. Well Still had pain and problems. Talked to the doctor and she and I desided it would be best to do the surgery anyway, seeing I had been loosing strength in my hands.

She did the surgery on June 17. Boy oh boy, when she cut me open she found that the ulnar nerve in my elbow was red and swolen. She said it was very compressed. She also said that she now is glad that I forced the issue.

What I am trying to tell you that if your having problems and and your doctor can not find out what is going on, please find someone who will help you, be is surgery, or therepy, or what ever it is you need.

I have cubital tunnel not carpel tunnel. For those of you who dont know the diff, cubital is in the elbow and the nerve is being pinched there. Carpel is in the wrist. (which I am very sure you already no thata )

Now it looks like sometime soon I will be having my other arem done. SO then both will have the decompressen done and over with. So far I am doing better I guess with my other arm, Pain is easing up and I just startd the therepy.

SO good luck to you all and I send my blessings you each of you for a speady recovery, or speedy outcome to your arms/hands,

Just my 2 cents
Take care
Chele'
