Post Cerebral Palsey

I have a 26 yr old cousin who has had cp all of his life effecting his right side. He recently fell and that has effected his left side so now he is in a wheelchair. he also has had spasms since this fall. He just seems to be getting worse. His legs are scissoring in and he was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on things that might help his condition. He has lost all independence and just wants to walk again. Does anybody think that it is possible. If you have any suggestions PLEASE do not hesitate........

I recently had twins, one with numerous problems and was told he had about 80% chance of having CP. We started physical and occupational therapy right away because his legs and feet were pointing outwards.
This has done wonderful things for him.
Maybe your cousin should try something along those lines. You would be amazed at the progress just over a couple weeks. Does your cousin see a Neurologist? They can usually suggest the best kind of therapies for your situation. Hope this helped a little. Good luck to you!
