Unhappy follow-up question to arms and legs always moving

I'm convinced my son has cp. Will his arms and legs always move around so much? Or is there medicine that will keep this under control? Sometimes he moves so much that he gets out of breath.

Hello. One thing you have to always, always keep in mind is this: If your child has CP, it is NOT a death sentence, and you have to treat him like any other child! To treat a child like a handicapped person will make them grow up to BE handicapped!
My son has CP, and he is fine. He plays soccer. Since he cannot run the entire field like the others, the coach has him play defense, and he excels at it. We all have strengths, and we all have weaknesses. Regardless of our physical conditions, that rule applies to us all, and has a way of leveling the playing field.
It is always hard when you have a child with any condition, to treat them like any other kid - but that is the greatest gift you can ever give!
Good luck, and God bless!
