Question Surgeries, advice please

Hi everyone,
I'm new here, so don't know if this topic has been discussed. Do you have any knowledge about a procedure called bilateral distal osteotomies? (cut femur, rotate bone to align). Also hamstring, heelcord and adductor lengthenings? Gait analysis has recommended these procedures and we desire a second opinion. Evan has not had prior surgeries, only botox (with limited success). We are in Denver and will travel anywhere in US to consult an "expert". We trust the docs and recommendation, but feel that this is a huge undertaking- painful, long rehab, wonder about long-term impact.
Help please!
Gratefully,
