I've been on Yasmin for two years and it's not helping prevent breakouts anymore. I'm in search of a new pill to try that can help with acne. Can I get some suggestions?? Thanks
None of the pills helped for me...in fact some of them even made things worse. ESPECIALLY the ones that are suposed to help acne like Ortho Tri Cyclin and OTC Lo. I tried the Nuva Ring and saw good results.
i've been on estrostep fe for 4 months now with no improvement. it says "for acne indication" on the box, but i had no luck. my dr switched me to ovcon-35 because i've been having insane breakthrough bleeding. i will start the new pill on sunday...hope it helps. my dr seems to think it could. i'll let you know if i have any luck with the ovcon. frustrating isnt it?
Levlen 28 seemed to help me alot. My body adjusted to it really well too. I had a little bit of breakthrough bleeding but not much. It lasted maybe two weeks and I've been fine every since. I have never taken birthcontrol before this and I really like this pill. It cleared up my skin (a few months after I started it) and my body seems to be doing fine on it.
