Low blood sugar and High BP

I was wondering - today my BP spiked up again. I was feeling a bit woozy and shaky - I hadn't taken my BP meds until after lunch. I take .1 mg chlonidine and 20mg lisinopril. I was thinking I was having a low sugar episode so I took my medication but yet I ate a candy bar - and I felt a bit better. I came home after work and tested my Blood sugar on my mothers glucouse monitor and it showed 73. Is that too low? My blood pressure is still high running around 150/101. Could this spike be attributed to the low blood sugar?
