Vicodin and Ibuprofin (and other OTC pain killers)

Is it okay to mix vicodin and ibuprofin (and/or other OTC pain killers together)? If not, what are the effects?

Re: Vicodin and Ibuprofin (and other OTC pain killers)

The vicodin and ibuprofen are fine when taken together. The only thing you really need to be concerned about most with adding any other OTC meds to the Vicodin would be the addition of much more tylenol. The daily dose max limit is 4,000mgs.On a very short basis.long term,if I remember right would around 2,000mgs per day.If you are considering taking any other meds along with this, since you are probably going to be in a drug strore at the time, just discuss anything you are considering with the pharmacist.or just call them on the phone.I am on soo many different meds that anytime I take anything new,rx or OTC, I will usually call and clear it with my pharmacist before taking.they have the most extensive knowledge on any possible drug interactions. What they don't know, they can quickly find out for you with all of the computer programs they use.pretty easy.FB
