Post Open rhinoplasty with cartiledge grafts

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had experience with a rhino revision involving cartiledge grafting. I need one to correct my breathing, but it will have to be performed "open". I am very concerned about scarring from the incision. I would appreciate any information and recommendations to NY surgeons. Thanks!!!

If done by a highly skilled surgeon, the columellar incision should be a non-issue. I know many people who have had an open procedure and the scar is basically invisible. The best NYC surgeon for revisions seems to be Nicholas Tabbal from all the info I've gathered.

Thanks for your response. I actually consulted with Dr. Tabbal, but I just didn't feel comfortable with him, as he was reluctant to answer my questions and does not show before & after pictures. Do you know of anyone personally who has had revision performed by him? Also, do you know anything about Dr. Brad Jacobs of NYC?

Thanks again!
