Exclamation Treatment of Chidlren's Deformities Act of 2001

I learned the hard way that not all insurance companies are required to cover the repair of birth defects (my seven year old son has a unilateral cleft lip and palate). Help ensure that other children with birth defects get insurance coverage.

Please write your U.S. Representative and ask that he or she support and co-sponsor H.R. 792, the “Treatment of Children’s Deformities Act of 2001.” This is a FEDERAL, not STATE bill.

Read the text of the bill here, just enter H.R. 792 under “Bill Number”:

You can LOCATE AND WRITE your representative for FREE with your zip code. It’s as easy as entering your name, address, zip, and the message you want to send. Visit here:

If you don’t know your zip+4 code, visit the U.S. Postal Service Zip+4 Lookup here:

TIME IS RUNNING OUT! PLEASE ask for their support before the October 5 adjournment. THANKS!

Talking

I just wrote my congressman!! I feel so good and empowered!! Wow, that was easy, I urge all of you to do the same. It is so easy (just writing a tiny little note, mine was like 4 sentences) and it feels so good to do a good thing! Thanks Lucky for posting that.
