Hi, Julbox. I've considered a breast reduction/lift for a long time now, but don't think I'll ever do it. But good for you that you had it done if you wanted it! As to your question, three months is often not enough time for those types of scars to flatten completely, so a lump or raised part is probably very normal. Many people wait a good six months for the scars to flatten out and start fading. If it's bright red, though, maybe you should see your PS again and ask about it, just to be on the safe side. At three months the scars should have begun to lighten, although they would certainly still be pink. Also, if the "lump" is what is referred to as a "dog ear"....which is a section at the end of a surgical scar that remains raised and puffy because of the way the skin was pulled to suture it....then it can be revised at the correct time. Your PS would be able to tell if that's what this is, and a reputable PS should be willing to correct it. Good luck.
