Now patients have to worry about being sued by their surgeons!! If you complain about the doctor on the Internet, YOU COULD BE SUED!!!!
What next???

If this isn't a deterrent to having cosmetic surgery, I don't know what is!

You are right; however most surgeons don't want to take the time involved to sue, and they also want to avoid the bad publicity. Unless it is very serious, they usually choose to ignore what is said about them.

I suppose it is an ego driven thing on the part of the surgeon.. Do you really think it makes the doctor look worse than the patient being sued?

I was wondering where you got this information about being sued by doctors if you complain on the Internet. I know from past posts that people have made complaints about certain doctors. If this is true, that you can be sued, it would make a big difference in how people would be allowed to post.
