How important is Arnica Montana?

I am going in for a rhinoplasty....My doctor recommened a form of Arnica Montana by SinEcch, which you can get at the pharmacy but not at health food stores..he said this kind is the only one he would take...THE ONLY PROBLEM, its $30 for a weeks supply...Kind of expensive I think....Any thoughts on this?....How important is Arnica Montana for healing...and do you think the health food store variety is ok??

It prevents a lot of bruising and swelling. Worked wonders for me and worth every penny.
