Post Need advice for Lip lift please...

Hello all! Newbie here... I've been doing some research on getting a lip lift. I'm in the Dallas area and am looking for a good surgeon. Usually, upon going to a doctor's website, I don't see this procedure listed. Is this not a common procedure? Will it be difficult to find a doctor who does this well? Has anyone had this done? What can I expect? Sorry for all the questions... I'm looking to achieve that Angelina Jolie pout. My lips are already fairly full, I just want them a tad fuller. Also, my upper lip is longer, so I could definitely have it shortened. Please advise!! Thanks so much!

Lip lifts are done frequently, but are not listed. i have no idea why. There is a small scar which is your tradeoff for the lift. I am doing a lip lift this summer. Since you are raising your lip and sewing it to a new position, do not expect a pouty lip. It will be larger, but may appear flatter. Most hollywood actresses use a filler, because it creates a really desireable look. There are many lip options available, permanent and semi-permanent. Check all of them out because lip lifts are not reversible.

Thank you for replying. I've had such a hard time trying to find info and before/after pictures of the lip lift procedure. If you have any links/docs about the procedure, please email me! Thanks so much!!

You WILL NOT get A.J. lips, but it's a start. I'm looking to getting some type of permanant implant (filler) to give me more of that look next year after I'm completely healed.
