***Best Pill to take continuously?***

What brand of birth control is the best to take continuously? I have very heavy periods and the pill has not helped lighten them so I am looking for a brand that I can take 2-3 months continuously (maybe more). My gynacologist said this would be ok. Thank you!

Try Seasonale. {removed}
Its 3 months of continuous pills and 1 week for ur period. So you only get every three months or 4 times a year, hence the name "season"ale. If your gyno said it would be OK, why didnt he/she suggest any thing?
I, myself, just started the pill for the first time and its been good so far, but i dont have any other suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would rather stay away from Seasonale though because I have heard pretty much all bad things about it. My gynacologist seems to be pretty random when she puts me on pills. She told me that it didn't make a difference whether I use triphasal or monophasic pills to try to skip my period, but I have heard that you can ONLY use monophasics to skip your period. I'm asking here because people have more personal experiences, which is what I'd rather go off of.

I did not have good luck with Seasonale. And trust me, I wanted to {removed}

Everyone is different, and all that. But Necon 1/35 (generic of Ortho Novum) worked very well for me for lightening periods and taking continuously.

Thanks. Anyone else have any suggestions? (Oh and by the way, I should add that I live in Canada, so some pill brands we don't have here, as far as I know).
